Dave, I've responded directly to Abstrakt Workshop regarding his list of grievances, a couple of which are fair, and will be making a public statement as soon as I can get the words the way I want them, including information now being exchanged with various captains. Due to real life (10% redundancies in my company, including my two most trusted captains), preparations for my leave were not as well handled as they might have been. If I am to be hanged for that, I'm sure my enemies will use it to the fullest. Be aware that chosen positions are going to be changing very soon - I have some indications that there is a spy amongst my chosen. Regarding your position (and Gray Area's), you denounced without permission, and stated openly why. I hold integrity and courage in high regard, and feel you should both be commended and not punished. Your previous praising history has been good, but that is a small factor in this regard. Those that jumped on the "let's get rid of a prophet" bandwagon without stating principles are regarded far less favourably. If you want, you may denounce again *with permission* to complete your uncursing. As for the bot... There never was one. It was a fabrication to wrong foot a political force that I was tipped off to regarding an attempt to remove me from office while I was away. Of course, that may have worked, but the greater consequences might be the same anyway. Oh well, that's politics. An additional bonus was luring Flying Beak into a position where I could excommunicate him. Obviously, I'd like the continued support of as many captains as possible, but I regard each as free to choose their own way. The only thing I can really say is to think carefully who might replace me. I am one of a small number of truely independant captains of any size - I neither control an alliance or wish to be controlled by one, and that does make me a target. Regards, Graham. This is Dave of the Tin Bucket. I've denounced you a few times, and see that my balance is now 4 denounces in your favor. Maybe it was rude of me to denounce, but I didn't really like the idea of a robot, and since I had recently acquired a Cloak curse, I figured I'd take advantage of the broken bot. You can find a history of denounces and praises below. I currently have 179 Science favor, a sensor artifact, and an income of 12 terminals. I intend to access a terminal and de-curse my cloaks this turn which should leave me with maybe 179 +12 +1 -70 -5=132-3 = 128 depending on the application of new terminal favor. I next intend to bring my incomes higher to more comfortably accommodate my artifacts. I'm not sure what I should do next -- I've been contacted by your opposition with their fine platform and set of promises, but really don't want to treat anyone unfairly.
